The BTL Vanquish machine is an FDA-approved device that provides a noninvasive, painless treatment for the reduction of abdominal circumference. It can also be used for back, flank, arm, and thigh fat reduction. The machine emits radiofrequency (RF) energy, which heats up the adipose tissue (fat cells), leading to apoptosis (cell death). This leads to permanent fat reduction. The RF energy does not increase temperature of the surrounding skin or other tissue due to a higher water content than fat cells. It does not penetrate deep enough to reach the internal organs.

Studies have shown that 4-6 weekly treatments of 30-45 minutes using Vanquish led to an average of 4.22 cm reduction of abdominal circumference, 3.86 cm reduction of thigh circumference, and 5.36 mm fat layer thickness reduction as visualized by MRI. Peak results are seen 1-3 months after the final treatment. See Before & After photos below.

As compared to Coolsculpting, RF energy treatments are less painful, more effective for individuals with a higher BMI, do not involve risk for paradoxical adipose hyperplasia, and provide a much greater area of coverage per treatment. Heat-based body contouring treatments can also help to stimulate collagen production, which can help with localized skin tightening. As compared to VelaShape, Thermage, Zerona, and Trusculpt, users report better efficacy and a more comfortable experience with Vanquish ME.

Vanquish treatments are always followed by a treatment with the Z Wave Pro to help promote lymphatic drainage of dead adipose tissue (fat cells). Total treatment time including set up can take up to 60 minutes. The treatment feels like a warm blanket. There is no down time, and you can resume normal activities immediately after treatment. Best results are achieved with 4-6 treatments.

Z wave pro

The Zimmer Z Wave Pro machine is an FDA approved device for the temporary reduction of the appearance of cellulite. It provides an acoustic treatment that emits sound waves into subcutaneous tissue. This stimulates enhanced circulation and thus collagen production in the area of application to help smooth out the uneven distribution of subcutaneous fat.

This treatment can be used independently or immediately following the Vanquish procedure to also stimulate lymphatic drainage of the dead adipose tissue. Treatment time is 3-4 minutes per area.

how to prepare

It is important to maintain very good hydration in the few days before and after your procedure in order to allow your body to flush out the dead fat cells. We recommend drinking at least 2 liters (64oz) of water daily. Do not drink alcohol or take a diuretic in the days preceding or immediately after the procedure.

Do not apply any topical agents or creams/lotion to the treatment area the day of the procedure.

Be sure to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that do not contain any metal (sport bra is recommended for ladies). Do not wear any jewelry.
